Many time in my personal exp i found some Error After Trying same Hardware id supported firmware
some mtk device also can be repair by alternative firmware
but its depend on hardware chip capacity hardware id
software version issue can be bypass via little method
The Think is That android scatter file is the direction library File to be copied to the chip area
Every firmware scatter file contain different target area even thought phone is same model This differences For firmware version
if we try update same phone higher/lower version firmware we are unable to downlod firmware to phone by sp tools got same "Brom error type massage , this have another reason why can't write higher/lower firmware
if we want to flash with higher version firmware then must need to follow this
